Who we are

Trans Hire NSW (ABN as shown in the footer) sells and hires trucks, trailers and light vehicles in New South Wales.

What we collect

When you make an enquiry, request a hire quote, apply for finance through us or ask us to value your vehicle, we collect the details you give us: name, phone, email, company, postcode, your message and details of the vehicle you are interested in or selling. For hire customers we may later collect driver licence details, ABN and insurance information, which we collect only after a quote is accepted.

We also collect technical information automatically: IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring site, and the campaign information in links you clicked (UTM parameters).

Analytics and advertising pixels

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. These tools set cookies and may share limited browsing information with Google and Meta, including for retargeting ads. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on and manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook settings. You can also block cookies in your browser.

Who we share it with

We share information only with: our staff; service providers who host our website, send our email and SMS (for example Vercel, Neon, Cloudflare, Resend and ClickSend); finance brokers or lenders you ask us to introduce you to; and where required by law.

Storage and security

Lead information is stored in Australia-region hosting where available. Access is limited to staff with individual logins. Enquiry records are anonymised after 24 months. Hire identity documents are deleted 30 days after a hire ends unless a claim is open.

Access and correction

Email the address in the footer to access or correct your information, or to complain. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
